About · Volume 01
A different kind of chiropractic office.
Read · 5 min · Field notes from Allen, TX
We don't treat symptoms. We measure your nervous system, find the interference, and let your body do what it was designed to do — heal. From the prenatal mom in her third trimester to the eighty-year-old grandfather, the question is the same: how is your nervous system functioning?

Field note
“The body knows what to do. We just clear the way.”
— Dr. Colton O'Brien
Our story
Built on a personal healing journey.
Dr. Colton O'Brien didn't discover chiropractic in a textbook. He discovered it on a basketball court in the Texas panhandle, after an injury left him searching for answers beyond surgery and prescription medication.
That experience — combined with a lifelong journey through ADHD — led him to neurologically focused chiropractic care. For the first time, his body and his mind felt like they were on the same team. The fog lifted. The pain quieted. He felt at home in his own skin.
That transformation became his mission: bring the same kind of healing to families in his community. Trinity Life Chiropractic was founded on a simple belief — that every person, from newborns to grandparents, deserves to function at their absolute best.
Today, we serve hundreds of families across Allen, McKinney, Plano, Frisco, and the greater Collin County area — one nervous system at a time.
The headline
94%
of new patients complete the corrective phase of their care plan.
The why
Most chiropractic offices treat the patient who walks in. We treat the family who stays. Different model — and the difference shows up in retention, in the lifetime health of the kids who grow up with adjusted nervous systems, and in the relationships we keep for years instead of weeks.
That's what the 94% number is measuring. Not how many people we adjusted. How many people stayed long enough for it to actually work.
Why we exist
Care that meets your family where you are.
The body is wiser than any care plan. Our job isn't to override it. It's to listen carefully, measure objectively, and clear the interference so it can do what it's wired to do — heal.
We measure first.
Three INSiGHT nervous-system scans on every new patient. NASA-certified, objective data — not gut feel.
We treat the whole family.
Newborns, teens, expecting moms, grandparents. One office, one philosophy, every age.
We correct, not chase.
Symptoms are signals. We trace them back to the nervous system and address the root, not the noise.
We stay in your corner.
The relationship is multi-year, not multi-visit. Care plans evolve as your life does — pregnancy, postpartum, school, sports, retirement.

Founder's note
“I came to chiropractic as a patient first — desperate, hurting, looking for someone who would actually listen. That's the room I want every family who walks in here to feel like they've walked into. We listen, we measure, we earn the right to adjust.”
The philosophy
We measure first, then treat.
The first chiropractor most families meet is reactive. Pain shows up, they crack and pray. The relief lasts a week. The pain comes back. Someone declares chiropractic “didn't work” and quits.
We start somewhere different. Three INSiGHT scans before we touch your spine. The scans show us what your nervous system is doing under the hood — not where the pain is loudest today, but where the wiring has been pulled out of tune.
“The pain is rarely where the problem is. The data tells you where the problem is. Then you adjust the data, and the pain goes away as a side effect.”
Once we see the data, we build a care plan around the nervous system, not around the symptom. The adjustments are gentle, specific, measurable. We re-scan at the end of the first phase so you can see, with your own eyes, what changed.
That's the loop: measure, adjust, re-measure, adjust again. The body does the healing. We just keep the runway clear.
