Because Healthy Kids Grow Into Healthy Adults

What this is
Help Your Child Thrive from Day One
The birth process can be traumatic on a newborn's delicate spine and nervous system, even in 'normal' deliveries. The pulling, twisting, and compression involved in birth — whether vaginal or C-section — can create tension patterns that affect everything from nursing and sleeping to digestion and development. Neurologically focused pediatric chiropractic gently removes this interference so your child's nervous system can function the way it was designed to, setting the foundation for a lifetime of health.
What we help with
The signals we hear most often.
These are the things that bring families to Pediatric Chiropractic. None of them are the actual problem — they're just the most visible symptoms of an underlying nervous-system pattern.
Colic & Reflux
Digestive issues in infants are often linked to vagus nerve irritation caused by tension in the upper neck from birth. When the vagus nerve is compromised, the digestive system cannot coordinate properly, leading to painful gas, reflux, and inconsolable crying.
Chronic Ear Infections
Poor drainage caused by tension in the upper cervical spine can lead to fluid buildup in the middle ear and recurrent infections. Many children end up on repeated rounds of antibiotics or facing surgery for ear tubes when the underlying mechanical cause has never been addressed.
Sleep Disturbances
A nervous system stuck in 'fight or flight' mode makes it extremely difficult for infants and toddlers to settle down and sleep soundly. When the body cannot shift into the parasympathetic 'rest and digest' state, sleep becomes fragmented and unrestorative for the whole family.
Developmental Delays
Interference in the nervous system can slow down the achievement of motor milestones like rolling, crawling, and walking. The brain relies on clear communication pathways through the spine to coordinate the complex movements required for healthy development.
By the numbers
94%
of patients in our pediatric chiropractic program complete the corrective phase of their care plan — meaning the change shows up in the data, not just on the table.
How we approach it
Gentle Care for Tiny Spines
Our pediatric adjustments are incredibly gentle — using no more pressure than you'd use to check a tomato for ripeness. Dr. Colton O'Brien uses INSiGHT scanning technology to objectively assess your child's nervous system, identifying exactly where interference exists so we can be precise and purposeful with every adjustment. We focus on removing that interference so your child's body can do what it was designed to do: heal, grow, and develop on schedule.
“The body knows what to do. We just clear the way and trust the wisdom inside.”

What changes
The benefits people notice first.
Boosted Immunity
A clear nervous system communicates more effectively with the immune system, helping your child fight off bugs and recover faster when illness does strike. Many parents in our office report that their kids get sick far less frequently after starting care.
Better Sleep
By shifting the nervous system from 'fight or flight' to 'rest and digest,' pediatric adjustments promote deeper, more restorative sleep. Better sleep means a happier baby and more rested parents — a win for the entire household.
Improved Digestion
Gentle adjustments help regulate the vagus nerve, which controls bowel movements, stomach acid production, and the entire digestive process. Many parents see reductions in reflux, gas, constipation, and general tummy discomfort within just a few visits.
Calmer Demeanor
Reducing internal neurological stress helps children regulate their emotions and behavior more effectively. When a child's nervous system is no longer in overdrive, you often see a calmer, more content, and more engaged little one.
“Our son screamed for 4 hours every night with colic. After just 3 adjustments, he was sleeping peacefully. We finally got our sanity back!”

Your path
Three steps to lasting wellness.
Every pediatric chiropractic care plan walks the same arc. The visit length, frequency, and specific protocols vary — the spine of the plan does not.
- 1
Consult & scan
We start with a conversation and three INSiGHT scans to see exactly what's going on in your nervous system. No guessing, no gut-check — just data.
- 2
Custom care plan
We build a plan tailored to your nervous system's specific needs, your goals, and your stage of life. You see the recommendation before you commit to anything.
- 3
Gentle adjustments
Specific, gentle corrections to clear the interference and let your body do what it was designed to do — heal. Re-scanned at the end of each phase so you can see the change.
Before you book
Common questions about Pediatric Chiropractic.
Do you 'crack' the baby's back?
No! Pediatric adjustments are very different from adult ones. They are sustained, light contacts that feel like a gentle touch. There is no twisting, popping, or cracking involved whatsoever.
Why would an infant need a chiropractor?
Birth is one of the most physically demanding experiences a human goes through. Twisting and pulling on the head and neck during delivery can cause misalignments that affect nursing, sleeping, digestion, and overall comfort. Early detection and correction sets kids up for their best start.
Can you help with ADHD?
We support the nervous system's ability to self-regulate. By reducing 'fight or flight' stress and restoring proper brain-body communication, many children with ADHD see improvements in focus, emotional regulation, and calmness.
At what age can a baby be checked?
We see babies as young as a few hours old. The earlier we can identify and address nervous system interference from birth, the better. Many families bring their newborns in within the first week of life.
How do you know where to adjust if the baby can't tell you what hurts?
We use INSiGHT scanning technology, which objectively measures nervous system function. These scans show us exactly where stress and interference are present, so we don't have to guess. We also observe movement patterns, muscle tone, and how the baby responds to gentle palpation.
How many visits does a baby typically need?
Every child is different. Some respond quickly with noticeable improvement in just a few visits, while others with more significant birth trauma may need a longer corrective care plan. We base our recommendations on your child's scan results and how they respond to care.
